I left my job in New York City to travel the world and build a photography portfolio. I worked in advertising in New York and before that I started a tech company in the UK. I was born in India, grew up in Oman, and went to university in England. I'm a singer-songwriter in some alternate universe and some of that has trickled down into this one :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people and making friends around the world. I have an 18 month travel itinerary and definitely wouldn't want to spend it all in solitary confinement.

I'm currently listening to Miles Calder, a Kiwi singer/songwriter who was recently busking in the New York subway. Not a big movie buff; I haven't watched Star Wars or The Godfather but I do enjoy the occasional film. I'm currently reading 'independent people', a novel about Icelandic history / culture that I picked up in Reykjavik.
