Overview
About Me
I have travelled and lived in many different parts of this world. I've been blessed to experience some amazing things during that time.
I'm a roaming nomad now with an online business.
I have slept in hundreds of hostels and hotels. I have been invited into people's homes in the most remote regions of this planet.
I've spent more time on buses, planes, trains, rickshaws, carts pulled by animals, motorcycles than the average person does in a lifetime.
With all this said I never feel burnt out of travelling.
Sailing is a huge passion of mine. The ability to command a sailboat across lakes, seas and oceans and reach new lands relying on nothing but your sails and skills excites me.
Right now I'm trying to get as much time sailing as possible. I feel my next adventure will be powered by the winds.
Love water and playing in it. Lakes, oceans, seas.
I have always been a port boy and I will always try and live next to the water.
PHILOSOPHY
This sums up a lot.
"Years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the things that you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbour.
Catch the tradewinds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover."
Good words to live by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got involved with couch surfing back in 2006 while backpacking South America since then I've hosted many surfers and organized many trips with various groups around the world.
I'm always available for travel advise or local knowledge.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted and surfed several couches through couchsurfing.com, and it has been generally good. The people I've met here are usually interesting and great to get to know.
I've also surfed several friends couches (and floors and lawns...) after a night of heavy partying. Ummm... Does that count?
Interests
I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I like discussing world issues and politics.
Here are a few more things i like:
Camping, hiking, fishing, sailing , India, Latin America, exploring new cities, taking pictures, attempting to speak new languages, eating delicious unknown random street food.
