Overview
About Me
I've worked most of my adult life as a furniture designer/builder, but am now retired. I've lived here in Door County on this lovely 160 acre tract of land for over 40 years. Nora & I were married two and a half years ago and after a lengthy immigration process she is now a resident of the US. We have a lovely home and welcome traveling guests. Door County is a tourist destination and one of the most gorgeous places to live....so many things to do and places of beauty to see! Come join us in this wonderful place and share some of your life experiences with us. We have a terrific guest bedroom and always an open heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We joined Couchsurfing to share our world with travelers and gather a rich experience in exchange for a place to stay.
Interests
I am passionate about woodworking and have a state of the art studio. Come stay for a while and learn a bit about the craft and art of building fine furniture. Ballroom dancing is high on the list as well as traveling and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music from all over the globe. I'm a huge movie fan and have a movie collection with thousands of titles. Perhaps my biggest collection of books has to do with woodworking and its related subjects and uses.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've studied with an Ojibwa medicine man for over 10 years, but that is just the one story of many. I'm curious and have lived a rich life filled with adventure and more stories than one might imagine from just one lifetime!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to teach woodworking in my studio.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A beautiful piece of rolling countryside and woods, a stunning place to explore and live and a rich life with which to share many stories and experiences.
Countries I’ve Lived In
