ABOUT ME

I was born 28 years ago, raised by an amazing lady and grew up in a small shack in the rainforest. I was given an SLR camera at a young age and encouraged to look closely at everything and to tell stories with a camera lens. I've been and still am incredibly lucky with seeing parts of this world. I live in Melbourne, a city full of small alleyways full of amazing art and food, where you can find an underground jazz club or can walk into a film festival for free. I'm learning Portuguese as I think it's a beautiful and challenging language - and its spoken all over the world. I love the stories of peoples lives, we've all got one and to share them makes life richer. Sometimes I am lucky to make images to tell those stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've thoroughly enjoyed hosting, but rarely surfed myself. Being a host gives a valuable insight into what's important for a good surfing experience.

Interessi

Things important to me: hearing people laugh, talking to strangers, seeing people smile, listening to peoples' stories and sharing experiences and adventures.

Besides that I am always excited to do the following:
cook, play Capoeira, hear live music, Bodyboard, see a good film, dance to Afro-beat. I'm interested in the same thing as you are - learning about people and being a part of our world community.

Midnight sun over the Lofoten Isles from a hard-climbed peak on Engeløya was the defining moment of my life so far.

I know a little about film making and photography.
I can cook a few dishes really well and many dishes not so well. I'm learning Norwegian, Portuguese and how to play the ukulele. I would be happy to pass on any knowledge I have of these to somebody.
