About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town called Busselton in Western Australia and moved to Perth when I started uni. After living there for many years I decided I needed a change, so I quit my job and travelled around Europe for 17 months. Best thing I ever did!

Some time later I ended up living in Quebec City, Canada for about 4 years. Now I'm back in Australia and recently moved to Brisbane.

PHILOSOPHY

No one said it better than Bill and Ted - "Be excellent to each other... and party on dudes!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was an active couchsurfing member in Quebec, organising many events and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed and hosted on several couches in Canada.

Interests

I enjoy travelling, what I enjoy most is meeting new and interesting people. I also enjoy seeing the natural world, I far prefer to go camping than to stay in a city.

I love sailing, it is something I really missed when I was away from Australia. Now I'm back I hope to get back to sailing often.

I have plenty of other interests, will fill this in more when I have time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like various types of music depending on my mood. I really like electronic dance music when I want to party, but also jazz, classical and easy listening when I feel like relaxing. :)
I'm a big fan of the original Star Wars trilogy. I love the Indiana Jones adventures. I'm a big sci fi fan.
Books, well Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is one of my favourites. I never leave home without my towel. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its very hard to choose one amazing thing. But if I count the journey from Perth to Darwin in Australia as one thing, that would be it. About a month in a 4WD, camping most of the time, sleeping under the stars. It was an amazing journey. The scenery was incredible, Shark Bay, Karijini, Coral Bay, the Gibb River Road. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Ask me about it some time. :)
