About Me

As a recent graduate of Wildlife Conservation and Ecology, I hope that working on great conservation projects will take me all over the world!
My flexible but confident plan is to find opportunities in new places, and after completing my placement of at least 6 months I will travel the region and see all it has to over. This gives me a relatively unique insight on a country as I will get to see the far wilds and rural areas in addition to the traditional tourist attractions, and allow me to immerse myself in the culture and lifestyle. I am very keen to get going!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my line of work it is incredibly likely I will not have a job with any degree of pay whilst abroad. Furthermore as most projects are 6 months to a year I must be careful with my money. Yet I believe it would be huge loss to travel to another country, stay so long and see so little. I want to make the most of each opportunity by travelling around the country or region I am in and experiencing more than just the forest and 1 nearby village.
Couchsurfing will allow me to do just that, and in the company of similar-minded active travel enthusiasts who are up for an exciting and wholesome few days with fresh, new and interesting people.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a night in with a good film and some drinks. Music is always welcome and I am very open to discovering new genres or bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My work has taken me to remote and challenging regions of multiple countries, and the vastly different landscapes I've experienced always amaze me the most.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am sure in most cases we will all learn much from talking about our own backgrounds and cultures over a drink or a meal.
