About Me

Uncomplicated guy from Germany who prefers to put good vibes out into the universe :)

I lived in bunch of different countries learning about myself and finding my place. I hope to settle down in Vancouver, provided they let me stay. Learning languages and meeting all types of people is incredibly fulfilling to me and has helped me go from the shy guy I used to be to the outgoing traveler I am now. I love to learn from different people with different perspectives and maybe offer some wisdom myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot and appreciate meeting locals rather than staying in hostels among other travelers. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to host yet, but I will give back once I settle down a bit.

Interests

I enjoy words, communication, languages and teaching thereof. Wanna play scrabble?
Anything creative absolutely consumes me, I can stay up all night with a new project.
I am into outdoor-sports, anything in nature really. Don't ask me to watch the game with you though, I don't see the point if I'm not doing it myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

This feels a little bit like a dating website but ok:
-arctic monkeys, franz ferdinand, gorrilaz, shaka ponk and old school rock and pop
-i watch tv-shows mainly, binge watch would be the more accurate term
-the magicians, the vorrh, the name of the wind, night circus, all very enjoyable reads

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I avoided driving off a cliff once when the breaks of my scooter gave in by driving into a little wooden stable for chickens. It was scary but I'll always have that story. The chickens were not amused though.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to teach some German or Spanish, I've only taught English so far and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany, Spain
