One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best decision I ever made was to spend a semester in Japan. I lived with a host family and took classes at a university. I felt accomplished every time I was able to communicate, and being there showed me how many of my assumptions about everyday life were specific to the U.S. The countryside is insanely beautiful, the cultural history is very rich, and hand-held technology blew me away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit! Or if you know how to knit, how do work with multiple colors or cabling. I can also spin plates.

Cooking: Soul food (fried chicken, corn bread, etc.), Japanese comfort food.
