About Me

I have prioritised these aspects of my life duirng the last few years (My christian non denominational religious belief, education, trainings and personal development).
My first professional background is on Computer Networks then secondly on Human Rights Law.
I have put tavelling to as many cities as possible on my bucket list recently, first nationanwide then internationally. I love going for a walk preferably in parks, green spaces, beaches and visiting new places, I enjoy watching good movies, documentaries, series and working out..I actually do it 5 days a week. I also enjoy having good conversations/debates on quite a few interesting topics ( Religion , Sociology, Law, History, Internatoional Politics)-the list is not exhaustive. I also love good food, discover new recipies and how to make them. Cooking helps me unwind sometimes,
I am a conservative by choice however I am more centrist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good way of hitting two birds with one stone I think. On one hand, one can visit as many places as he can proivided he finds likeminded people with whom to exchange on similar or different passions and on the other hand, benefit from the luxury of discovering new cities with guidance from locals who know it best and potentially make a long term connection with hosts or visitors. I have learned from along time that we live in a very small world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites musics are christian hymns and gospel songs, quite decent movie soundtracks (Now we are, Tears of the Sun from Hans Zimmer, the circle of life), When You believe), some classical musics (Fur elise), Opera (Una fortiva lagrima) The list is not exhaustive. I do also think Andre Rieu is quite a good artist- (Classics).
I prefer action, action and adventure and epic movies (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Pirates of Carribeans, The Lord of the rings Trilogy. King Arthur) and movies depicting historial and true events. (Shaka Zulu, The Passion of Christ, Downfall). The list is not exhaustive.
The Bible is my favorite book followed by A prince of the house of David then Killing a Mockingbird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have won the Queens Award for Voluntary Service 2008 with a charity in Newcastle upon Tyne, my role in the charity was that of aTreasurer.
I was humbled to be elected as a Trustee of the Top Church Training which has won the Queen Award for Voluntary Services 2020.
I have completed and self funded my Bsc in Computer Networks without applying for student loan back in 2011 and I have also done the same on my Masters in Human Rights Law in 2020. Both are my proudest achievements.

Teach, Learn, Share

Obviously I am also Language Interpreter and Translator for courts and local Governments so I can communicate and teach at least Four langauges including French, Lingala and Swahili.
I am passsionate about the teachings of the Bible and christian litterature.
I love Emerging Technologies and teaching people how they work but I am also passionate about International Law, International Criminal Law and International Human Rights Law.
When one is passionate about something, he is more likely to share it with his hosts or visitors.

What I Can Share with Hosts

French being my native language and having grown up with the french culture, combined with an african zest from my cultural identity and a bit of britishness given that I have spent half of my life in the UK, most of which in Newcastle Upon Tyne which proudly became my home town, my wealth of experience in multiculturalism can be shared with my hosts.
I have grown up with the stories of the Bible from home to sunday school until I started researching them myself by questioning them and finding answers to questions I did not ask when I firts can to encounter them, I am still a student of the Bible but I can passionately share what I have learnt so far.
I follow closely national and international politics, these are other topics that I can have good discusisons and debates about. Given that I am also passionate about Law, I am always ready to learn more on these topics and exchanges on them.
