This is Fang from Taiwan. I am a student who majors in urban planning, The things I can provide are my thoughts, the foreign language fluencies and the writing skills. I am used to write what I see, feel and learn via instagram to other people. I am a person who loves to share and to embrace the different culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The conclusion first,
I consider couchsurfing as a precious opportunity to meet the locals and be friends with them!

I have to confess that at the beginning I was only looking for a place to crash for free. But after I stayed with my first host in Istanbul, WWOOFed in Limmen, and volunteered in Apeldoorn, i found out that i learned a lot from them and got to know more about myself, which are more important than the free accommodation. Moreover, i develop good relationships with my hosts, friends i met in those places and i even now still have contact with them!

The project I volunteer in Apeldoorn is to help the manager clean the rooms and design the garden for the upcoming spring. Thanks to her, I learn to treasure other people’s places. I keep my own room tidy (no single hair on the floor!!!), and clean the living room and the kitchen without she asking me to do these.

By the end of March, i will travel again. This time, I consider couchsurfing as a precious opportunity to meet the locals and be friends with them. I will take your place as mine, keeping it as clean as possible. You will get to know how I survive during the past few months. (From Turkey to Bulgaria, Greece, and the Netherlands)
