About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling to Myanmar in May/June this year. Would love to meet up with people there!

ABOUT ME

I make extremely good company if you've got interesting stories to trade. I travel alot, read and produce the news as a professional career, and I've got a weakness for endurance sports. Also, I'll keep my stuff in a tidy corner after sleeping on your couch.

PHILOSOPHY

If you're going to spend most of your life working, might as well do something that you like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my parents now, so there's no couch available in Singapore. But I'd love to meet up for coffee or bbq stingray. I travel alot too so I'd love to meet up with local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed, with a friend, with a lovely vegetarian couple in Lund, Sweden, while backpacking. They'd just returned from their big Asia trip while I was going to embark on my big Europe trip. Traded tips, stories, and cultural clashes over spaghetti with curried hummus and turkish pickles. Sounds awful, but was the best meal I had on the trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently working on "Black Swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Watched "Capitalism - a love story" by Michael Moore yesterday and am listening to this now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vETf-B73XDQ&feature=related

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a close fight between seeing a beggar gang in action in India and completing a 1000km cycling trip from Singapore to Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you all about how the news media works.
