About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to every continent and make it to Antarctica too!

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, chill, and make new friends. Nothing in life is constant, so enjoy the moment and rock on!! Music, languages, psychology are my passions. Can't imagine a life without them. I love listening to people's stories, learn from them, and potentially write them into lyrics if the person agrees. :)

PHILOSOPHY

We only live this life once, so I believe each new encounter is a gift. Always up for new challenges in life, and forever a kid wearing curiosity on my sleeves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in the States during college, and it was really neat. I want to re-connect with the community and start couchsurfing again now that I'm back in the States after spending sometime working in NYC and China. Once I get my own place here, I can start hosting too! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my friends is a couchsurfer and host. We met in front of the national theater of Vienna.

Interests

Travelling, learning new languages, singing, dancing, musicals of 1930s to present, music jam sessions with my friends, drinking homemade dark chocolate hot cocoa on a cold rainy day, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bossa Nova, Jazz, Hipop, R&B, Neo-Soul, a little Classical, and music from different parts of the world. If I haven't heard it before, show me! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through the Alps and making back to my hostel in pitch dark through the winding valleys of the Alps freezing and with no guide. (would opt not to do that again, but it was amazing nevertheless) ; cliff jumping through the jungle of Vietnam; Dancing Reggae with a crowd of strangers on a random beach in Dominican Republic.

Teach, Learn, Share

music, singing, dancing, writing, anything that is a form of human expression

What I Can Share with Hosts

Exchange life stories, perspectives, jokes, new languages. I'm all ears. :)
I can cook Chinese food as well as simple Italian food and new-American. If you're into neuro-psychology, meditation, culture-language link, or philosophy, would love to hear your perspectives. And I'm always happy to practice languages (mandarin, japanese, english, french). I also do vocal training, so if you like to sing for fun, I can share with you vocal techniques that'll build up power and range in your voice.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
