Overview
About Me
I am Fanni, a Hungarian traveller and university student (Bachelor of Global Korean Studies, Koreanology). I am currently working in a multinational furnishing company as a salesperson while attending courses at ELTE university.
One year before I did not know where to start and had many unclear thoughts regarding my future so I decided to have a gap year before university. I travelled to Southeast Asia for a 2 and a half month trip, since I have always been attached to Asian culture, especially Korean.
The trip itself made me realize that I am capable of much more than I think and that practical knowledge is more important than theoretical. It taught me how to live in the present and gave me the courage to accept things for what they are. Since then I live up to the korean motto 일 생 에 한 번, which means once-in-a-lifetime. Given the fact that our lives are short-termed, I try to live a conscious one by only focusing on what truly matters.
I am a contemplative person who is open-minded, hard-working and who gives serious consideration to every decision. Simplicity and naturalism define me the most. I like to help others and perceive the outworld while systematize the experienced details in my own ideologic system.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking for a nice host with whom I can share deep conversations about our nation's history. Where my skills can be helpful and where I can be part of a language exchange while experiencing the diversification of the culture. My biggest goal is to become familiar with one country's social system, the national character and the ways of thinking. I'm highly interested in history, cultural heritage and fashion industry too.
