Hello! My name is Estefania, and I am a 23 years old girl from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
i like defining myself as a multifacetic person full of curiosity and, at times, a somewhat polemic human being. comfort and quiteness arent for me. my body may rest from time to time, but my mind and soul enjoy travelling to possible worlds over and over again.
i like the idea of breaking the rules, building a non static identity, where histrionic voices that live within myself can come out to playa and defy structures.
i adore experimenting new things, losing myself in creative process without being conditioned by the final product. we adults have the right to keep on beyond our age, to loose our fear of the established and to pulse a little further for our freedom.

This year I decided to go on a trip to Europe with my boyfriend, Marco.
We’ve been a couple for 8 years now, growing together and sharing our lives and our crazy ways to experiences the universe. After really thinking it through, we decided to finally go and cross the ocean to live new experiences.

Marco is a future psychologist, and I'm a visual arts professor and i keeps studying to get my bachelor’s degree. Next year I will study drama too! I NEED IT!

I met Marco in mid school when we were 14 years old. Since then, we've built a very special bound where we complement each other, and learn from the differences, challenges and vicissitudes of life.
We don't believe in possession, the structure of romantic love and those things that maybe want to change the other. We try to accept, negotiated and love for the essential.

It took us a couple of years, but we know that all this effort will pay off. To travel and get out of our comfort zone was always our priority and this time we are going to accomplish it.

We have a cabin in Mendoza, Argentina, and we're hosting people there!! It’s like our vacation home, because Marco’s father owns it, and he's offered to host people there, since he has travelled a lot around the world and still wants to meet people and host them the same as he has been hosted by others! So, if you come to Argentina, and you come to Mendoza, you can stay there, you will meet Marco’s father and he’ll be glad to host you!
You can see this beautiful cabin I'm talking about in our pictures. Marco’s father, Eduardo, lives in Potrerillos, Mendoza. He moved there from Buenos Aires in 2010. Eduardo is a musician and he’s built 4 cabin already, one of them being a little restaurant/bar in the mountains where he lives. He’s looking forward to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As peculiar as us, our intention is to share this trip with those who host us: this is the key! We are interested in sharing, learning and exchanging. To converse, to go out, to take a ride, to listen to new music and hear people’s stories, to walk the city, to meet new friends… that’s our plan!
We want to add new and fascinating memories to our lives and we believe that it’s necessary to contribute in the construction of the invisible networks of solidarity, care, mobility, exchange and transformation all along the planet.

Interests

We love art in all its forms. We find the experience of sharing this passion amusing. We love good food, animals and nature. Long story short, we believe we are willing to forget all our amenities and start something new and exciting.
We love music, visual arts, cinema, theater, good books and sweet coffee, chocolate, cats. We'd like to visit many museums and art fairs, go to rock concerts, eat tasty food, ride bikes. We like taking photos and making home videos for us to watch in the future. Marco plays different music instruments and Estefania is a great singer!

Music: Mostly rock (Muse), electronic (Zomboy!), classical music (Chopin..). We go to as many concerts as we can, it's a number one priority.
