ABOUT ME

A while back, my Californian friends and I had a kind of an inside joke which described me as a "French-loving-German-American". What they meant was that I was born and raised in Germany and my passport says I'm German; my heart is American, because that's where I truly felt home for the very first time, and at that time I had just discovered my love for the French language and culture. Thus, I guess I'm a French-loving-German-American :-)

But anyways, other than that I'd say that I‘m a rather uncomplicated person, who is ambitious and laid-back at the same time, and who is definitely always up for new adventures. I'm not afraid to try out new things. And depending on the situation really, I can either a bit shy or pretty outgoing. In any case, during my years of studying, living and traveling abroad, I met so many wonderful people from all over the world and got to know their way of life, culture, and habits and I'd now love to continue that during my future travels.

I was a couchsurfer in Paris and Chemnitz and absolutely loved it.

Interests

I love anything creative: drawing, crafting, decorating, designing, amateur photography, singing, dancing, baking... Also, I love everything related to movies and music. I enjoy little random things like dozing in the sun, the feeling you get when riding your bike on the very first (warm and sunny) day of spring, the smell of the ocean (I'd LOVE to live right at the beach someday), listening to the loud coaking of the frogs in our little pond back at home (I swear, it's the most calming thing ever), eating anything that's covered in chocolate...

I could teach you how to bellydance. I haven't actually bellydanced in many years and am pretty rusty by now, but can still remember how to do it if you wanna learn a few moves.
