Overview
About Me
Hey, I'm Fanny, a french geographer. I'm 26 years old.
I'm currently leading a research and reporting project about climate change adaptation in different islands in the world.
I love travelling, meeting people, being into the wilderness and catching the gorgeous instants of life with my camera. I want to discover the world, other cultures and other way of life and I want to share mine too. It's why I subscribed in the couch surfing.
"The use of travelling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are."
Samuel Johnson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because Couch Surfing is a great way to link people from the world and share experiences and services.
During my world tour for my research project, I will need to meet people and share tips to find places when I can stay to analyse my datas (with electricity and internet).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed one time on the couch of a really nice american man in San Diego, California and another time in San Francisco at a french canadian home and in Seattle, it was awesome. Then, I surfed in Victoria, Canada, on the couch of two nice men, and to finish in the craziest house ever in Vancouver. There, a canadian guitarist hosted me in a hobo style I loved.
The last one was in Rangiroa (French Polynesia) during a scientific mission and it was amazing.
I would like to host people too but I can't for the moment, unfortunately.
