ABOUT ME

My name is Fanny,25, and I've just moved back to my hometown near Paris, after 3 years of studies abroad and travel...I was working as a leal assistant for migrants held in detention centers, and I'm now studying to take the bar exam in a few months.
I'm afraid I'm really bad at describing myself so now I might have to concentrate(!):
I'd say I'm an outgoing,respectful and friendly person. During my free time, I'm always up for meeting friends and new people, having fun,walking/biking/hiking around,sharing past experiences, planning new trips (various destinations:from the coffeeshop next door to any place which exists in the world!). I would say I'm open-minded, insterested in almost everything and can have a wide range of conversations. I'm trying to be outdoor and active most of my time...enjoying people and places I like or discovering new ones!I'm trying to think positive(most) all the time, and to enjoy the present moment ;)I wish I could speak a lot of languages (more than 3 for sure!), and learning new ones is one of my plans for the near future!
I'm a coffee, wine, chocolate and cheese lover! (basically a French cliché, sorry about this:))
Well, people who know me might have some stuff to add to this...but well, after all, you might need to meet me to learn more than what I have described here ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to know couchsurfing while I was living in Canada two years ago. Since I registered on CS,I've surfed several coaches in different places, attended some CS events and participated to some trips that we organised among CSers. I also met a lot a new people and CSers through common CSer friends or while travelling. When I was living in Geneva, my rommates and I hosted some couchsurfers as well. Right now, I live in my parents' house, as I'm back to the student life and I can't afford to rent a room in Paris. But if you're visiting Paris, you can send me a request, depending on the time, I might be able to host you, and at least meet you and show you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed several coaches, mostly in Canada and the US, a bit in Western Europe. I've also got the chance to experience CS eents, trips, meetings. Just had great experiences so far..I had a great time thanks to CS! Such projects fits exactly with what I am looking for when travelling or living somewhere: meeting people from all over the world, discovering new places with people who happens to be in the same place at the same time, having fun,sharing good moments!

Interests

Some of my interests: outdoor sports and activities, making and creating cocktails,cooking,outdoor film screenings, human rights and humanitarian issues(to make this paragraph a bit serious ;) ), travelling around...and some more!
