After spending most of my life in Switzerland, I now live and work in Congo.

As an active contributor to Wikipedia and Openstreetmap, sharing is natural to me. Couchsurfing is just one more link to the concept.

I love being outdoors, always ready to go for a bike ride, a hike, a swim or a run. In general, the steeper the better (except the swim).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to discover a place is to interact with those who live in it and couchsurfing is an excellent way to meet them. Unfortunately there aren't many travelers coming to where I live now but I've enjoyed the years in Switzerland when I regularly hosted people. Some of them have become true friends.

Interests

Cycling, running, sailing, mountaineering. When the weather is bad I enjoy reading sci-fi or fantasy books and watching movies.

I'm also fond of photography, especially sports photography, and have covered numerous sporting events in Switzerland and France.
