I'm a 23 year old student and I live in Lausanne, Switzerland. Lausanne is a really nice small city (but one of the main cities in the country) located along lake Geneva. I'm doing a Masters degree in cinema studies at Lausanne University. I'm currently in Montreal to finish a university exchange!

I think couchsurfing is a very great concept. We tend to forget nowedays how important it is to be able to meet new people in any kind of context. Couchsurfing allows a meeting of different people from all around the world who might never have met each other otherwise.

兴趣

I have many interests, most of them in the cultural and artistic field. I study cinema and go very often to the theater to enjoy small independant movies or big blockbusters (my tastes are very broad ;) ). I'm also interested in modern and contemporary art and I usually visit museums that have these sorts of exhibits when I'm travelling. Although I like cultural activites when I'm visiting a city, I also love to go on more "close-to-nature" holiday. I travelled 4 months in New Zealand and Australia to discover the amazing diverse landscapes these two countries have to offer. It was very fullfeeling experience!

When I say that I'm a student in cinema, people usually ask me what's my favourite movie and I never know what to answer! I don't have one favorite movie of all time but I can probably say that there are some filmmakers and periods in the history of film that I prefer. The new Hollywood for instance with filmmakers such as Scorsese, Kubrik, Brian de Palma, Sidney Lumet or Mike Nichols. I'm also a big fan of all John Cassavetes's movies.

I would love to show my guests the city of Lausanne and its areas. There are many things to do all around the country although swiss publics transports might be expensive for foreigners! If you come during summer time, the lake side is very enjoyable so don't forget your swimsuit :)
