Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing as I think it is one of the best community of travelers and the best way to travel and discover the countries you are visiting. It is also a great way to share about your country with travelers ! I have relied a lot on Couchsurfing during my trip and enjoyed hosting as well !
As I am eager to meet new people from different countries and I am eager to share simple and nice moments with them, I will also be glad to welcome people in this beautiful city of Lyon !

Interests

I love hanging out in cafes, sharing a drink and a nice time with friends or just watching life pass by. I am pretty much outgoing and also enjoy going to a dinner, the movies or an expo...

I also am fond of cooking (and eating haha) ! I love good food and the joy of sharing a homecooked meal with friends, family or people I just met...

I could not picture my life without travelling!
That is why I decided to accomplish my childhood dream by taking a gap year and backpack around the world in 2018.
I love discovering places and meeting people and to me you don't discover a place if you don't meet its people!
You know that Alexandra David Neel's quote : " the one who travels without meeting others does not travel, he just moves", well that's it...
I have been lucky enough to travel/live abroad over the past years and be hosted by local people through CS or other means that's how I became "adopted" in Spain, fell in love with Italy and learnt to made good coffee and pasta and basically became Italian, rodeoed and volunteered in the USA, sang rebetiko in the street in Greece, learn how to read my fortune in coffe and belly dance in Turkey, rode a camel and played with kids in the middle of nowhere in Uzbekistan, learnt to paint and make tea in Iran...

And movies well, there are too many but those come to mind : Into The Wild, Le Nom des Gens, Les femmes du 6ème Etage, La vita è bella, Dieci Inverni ...
