ABOUT ME

Hello everybody :)

My name is Fiona, I'm a 26-year-old woman from Brussels.

I have always really liked meeting people, travelling and discovering new places and new people.

4 years ago, I decided to leave Reunion Island (where my parents emigrated in 2000) to study in Belgium. Objective : enjoying my 20s (and the rest of my life!) to discover Europe and the rest of the world.
After the end of my studies, I needed a new challenge and a new experience. I decided to join my boyfriend in Montreal thanks to a working-holidays visa. Then we traveled to South-East Asia. And now we are back in Belgium which is great.

It makes me incredibly happy to meet people. To talk to them. To share things and thoughts.

I'm a positive person in search of positive people in order to form a really positive community :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hard to explain why personal philosophy in english, because it's not my mother tongue. But I'll do my best :)

I love sharing things with people. Good moments, thoughts, sharing our conceptions of life. I'm trying to be as positive and tolerant as possible in my everyday life. And new and positive meetings are my daily pleasures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been aware of the existence of CouchSurfing for a long time but I have not had the opportunity to enjoy it yet (too much traveling...)

I'm looking for the occasion to build it with you.
So I hope I'll find an occasion to meet many of you as quickly as possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I said before, I'm looking for a first Couchsurfing experience. And I'm sure it won't be the last one.
Because I was looking for such a project and community for a long time.

音乐、电影和书籍

I read all the time. It's an excellent way of travelling when I'm Brussels, lacking new stories and new people. I read many kind of novels but I'm really attracted by stories taking place in the Middle East (the books of Yasmina Khadra, Khaled Hosseini for example).

Music is also really important in my life. I like meeting musicians, singing when someone plays the guitar... In general, I listen to world music but also pop, rock. Jehro, Asa and Jack Johnson make me smile everyday.

I have just crossed Canada by bus with my boyfriend during 6 weeks :) Just amazing!
