ABOUT ME
Well then, here we go. I live in the 15th district of Vienna, which is pretty cool since it's just ten minutes to walk to the main train station of Vienna. It's a district with many foreigners and prostitutes (not as many as there used to be, but they are still around, you just need to know where to look ;) ), but don't worry, they don't get mad when you don't answer their requests ;-)
The shared apartment I live in contains me and two students, a German girl and a Russian guy.
Each of us has his/her own room, also we got a bathroom, a toilet and a kitchen including our dining table. Pretty much what you'd expect from an apartment, really.
Now, these next few lines are added due to my latest CS-experience. If you're up to going out at night or do random stuff during the day, feel free to send me a request. If you're looking for someone who gets up at 8 and walks around the city for 12 hours, you'd be better off with a different host :) Also, if you're only looking for a place to sleep and already have other plans - that's cool too, I don't mind, but please let me know - I hate coming up with plans and then find out that it was pretty much good for nothing ;)
Oh yeah, some random facts you might want to know about me:
1) I'm very particular about food (NO, I will NOT say picky! ;) ) so it might not be the best idea to want to prepare a meal for me. It can work out, but chances are good that it doesn't.
2) I have two cats, so no allergics!
3) Unique kind of humour. VERY unique. Be prepared...!
4) Another thing I would put here is "a little geeky", but then again, there is no such thing, so let's just go with geeky and move on.
5) Age 23; love pool, foosball and darts; every day struggling with the decision whether to eat pizza or.. well, I guess it's not such a struggle after all.
Anything else? Just ask!
PHILOSOPHY
Do whatever makes yourself happy, unless you hurt others by doing it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I regularly attend the meetings (weekly meeting on Thursdays and monthly "Stammtisch") and might even be talked into hosting once in a while!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
More of a host than a surfer. Yet.
Interests
I would love to put something else here at the very top, but it would simply be a lie, so:
Biggest interest - computers and everything involved.
Sport-wise I enjoy pool/snooker/carambolage, ping pong (outside - oh yeah!), riding my bike instead of using public transportations.
I'm into crosswordpuzzles, Sudokus and all kind of stuff that makes you think, and I always enjoy a good movie.
Also, I'm very audiophil, I almost always have some music going in the background.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoyed reading Harry Potter, unfortunately the same-named movies are horrible. -> Just watched them again the other day, they are watchable at least ;)
Also I love the book "Evil", written by Jan Guillou.
Musicwise I opened up a lot over the last couple of months. I used to almost exclusively listen to HipHop, now I have a huge range of songs I enjoy. Recent discovery: Parov Stelar
About movies... don't get me started. I've seen so many, and I love watching horrible movies which exist in an outrageous amount, so I can't really tell you any movie in specific I like.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow, amazing is so subjective. Okay, story-telling time.
Once upon a time my best friend George, some more friends and me went to Lake Neusiedl to camp for a week or so. We brought our tiny cooking device that works with gas and a fittingly tiny fryingpan. One morning, we decided to make pancakes, so we went to the store and bought some butter and eggs and whatever more we needed to prepare the pancakes.
However, once the dough was prepared, we started heating the pan and thought about how much butter to use as an oil supplier. We went with ~ 1/4th of a kilo (~ 1/2 a pound). Once the first two pancakes were done, all the butter had disappeared from the pan. (yes, greasy pancakes - oh my god). But if that wasn't enough, we went and put butter (!!!) and Nutella and jelly on them. Then we ate them. And couldn't stand up anymore. And even though it sounds disgusting as I write it down, back then we were the happiest, most satisfied people ON EARTH.
So yeah. That's how I roll, I guess. 8)
Teach, Learn, Share
Haha, good question. I always thought I would make a hell of a teacher, but now I don't have a clue what to say.. still, I think I'm good at teaching; maybe I could teach you how to teach well ;)
