My name is Maciek and I was born and raised in Poland. I graduated in Computer Science MSc in the UK and now work in London as a programmer. Finally, I have got some spare time and money to travel. I am a very open-minded person who is very curious about life and cultures of other countries and people.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me more important than visiting and ticking checklist of monuments and other tourist places is meeting new people and listen to their story. I'd like to explore new places with guidance and suggestions of local people rather than official guidebooks. I'd like to exchange life experiences with others.
I'm on Couchsurfing for nearly 9 years now but honestly, I couldn't afford traveling till I graduated and got a proper job.

Intereses

During my studies, I was playing in our university basketball team, so I think I am quite good at it. I can also do some other sports like squash, running, handball and football.
Apart from a sport, I am also a geeky person so I'm really into new technologies. I enjoy talking about this endlessly.

Música, películas y libros

Generally speaking, I don't read books and spend time in front of the tv set. From time to time I like to watch some movie in the cinema or Netflix once upon a time.

My favorite kind of music is trance. Usually, I listen to some trance radios like trancebase.fm, di.fm or my favorite DJ is Armin van Buuren - I attended his concert in Gliwice, Poland!
