I'm a writer, most of the time. I have a tendency for music and love movies and anime and such things. I'm a bit of a clean freak, but I think it's because I had a father who had OCD. I love cooking but I tend to do it for people rather than for myself. I'm 31. From South America, Suriname and raised in the. Nederlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To force myself to go outside more. I'm a big introvert of lately. But I'm also a big lover of walking so I'm all up for adventures around unknown parts. The city centre is a mood, so I tend to avoid it, but there are places that are beautiful and bountiful.

Interests

I write novels. Unpublished currently. Working on it. I love playing the same song over and over again. Love reading and long walks. I like swimming a lot. And I like drinking beers with people who wouldn't mind having a long chat over about anything really. I've lost most of my love for debating but there are some subjects that still make me want to.

Sara Bareilles is my idol. Brandon Sanderson, my hero. And Marisa Tomei, a legend in every movie.

I love basically all songs by Sara but my favourite has to be Armour.

Brandon Sanderson is one of my favourite writers he wrote the Mist Born trilogy and also the Way of Kings.

Marissa Tomei - my cousin vinny best performance I've seen that genuinely keeps me going. But my heart goes primarily Gina Rodríguez for her movie Someone great. My absolute favourite movie. But that's just the characters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen people jump through fire in the middle of the night and then quickly douse themselves in water and do it again.

Walked through all of Spain.

Hiked through unknown hills in Georgia because I was lost for 2 weeks.

Walk to the border of armenia from Yerevan. Wounded might I add.

But the best of things I've done: sit on the edge of a mountain after having walked up it and seen a jungle before me of my home country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking I love teaching people how to cook. I was a professional chef for 10 years of my life. I can share some of my culture's food and I'd love to learn whatever you're willing to teach about yourself that you're truly passionate about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A sofa bed to sleep on. It is in my living room. And I don't live close to lisbon, but I do live a respectable walking distance away from the beach (1 hour walking)
