ABOUT ME

I enjoy being in good company. I want to meet new friends and see new places to expand my understanding of the world. I like to work hard and live well -- which is why I travel.

I've been traveling since very young, mostly on family trips, being designated the family navigator (which mostly entailed being yelled at when we make a wrong turn).

I'm currently a economics doctoral student working in the northeastern United States.

I stumbled upon the Couchsurfing idea many months back when talking to a classmate about the wonderful time she had on it. I am very enthusiastic about the idea and openly tell others about it.

My hobbies include movies, photography, table tennis, and hiking.

Recently I've been trying to learn to play the piano, to speak Spanish better, and to fly air airplane.

I'm also very interested in my economics research work. I like thinking about how stores price what they sell, and how these prices affect what people do. As a side hobby, I am trying to collect currency from every country in the world.
