About Me

Hello!

This is my first experience with Couchsurfing, but not my first time travelling and meeting other travellers and staying with people from around the world.

I'm a very easy going, kind and friendly, neat and tidy, chilled out person. I love to meet new people and connect over things. I'm quite social and enjoy hanging out with anyone. and also know how to enjoy my own time and space.

I was living in Perth, Australia over 6 years but have put that life on hold to go off and do some travelling. Started in Central America, South America, north of Africa and now in Europe...

I've been staying in mostly hostels, camping or with friends but now after starting to do "workaways"(volunteering with locals) I really appreciated the experience of staying with locals and spending time with someone from a city to chat and be introduced to their place through their eyes.

It would be so cool to change up my travels and meet new people and find out about life in other people's neck of the woods :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to make new friends as I make my way around the world, and think it would be awesome to experience new cities through local eyes.

After so much solo travelling, I've found that I love the part of meeting new people, exchanging ideas, connecting with others, seeing new places and spending meaningful time chatting about anything and everything and nothing.

Interests

I enjoy being active and getting out and about. I have a great interest in sustainable living and permaculture and am always keen to exchange ideas about life and world views.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Antarctica.

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently trying to tap into my "artsy" side, hoping to learn calligraphy, sketching, mosaic and a few other art forms. I love to learn about new things in general, especially how other people are living and different cultures, I'm interested in all sorts of topics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything about myself and where I grew up (Egypt) and my life so far. Happy to share experiences and do joint activities. Walking around, hiking, etc. if you want a buddy I'm always up for it.
Also chilling. Cups of coffee and tea. Cooking and baking. I can try to make Egyptian foods/desserts or any other foods/desserts too :)

Also if you can visit me one day in the future when I have a home again somewhere, I would love to share more moments from my life there too!
