Hi! My name is Farah. I'm half Colombian, half Lebanese & grew up in the island of Puerto Rico. I graduated last May with a degree in Psychology and Biology from Marquette University and currently work as a substance abuse counselor at UCC. I have a very busy work life but after 6:00pm I'm always up for an adventure!

I love staying in and watching movies.

As for books, I'm really into psychological thrillers and mystery genre. The last book I read was Stephen King's: Misery.
My favorite book is Khaled Hosseini's: A Thousand Splendid Suns.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through Europe last summer by myself. I started off in Copenhagen -> London -> Paris-> Barcelona-> Copenhagen -> home. I was homeless for a night, I got lost every single day, I got my first tattoo, my bike was stolen, practically everything that could've gone wrong, did. But it was the most amazing month of my life!

I can teach you how to speak Español, how to make delicious Puertorrican food, how to dance salsa and cumbia and how to watercolor.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my extraordinary cat, Cookie, who I rescued earlier this year. She's friendly, cuddly, and adorable. I can also share my dog Stronzino (which is Italian for Little Shit). I share custody with his father, so I get him every other weekend. I can also share the story behind this custody battle. I can assure you, it's not what you're thinking. I can also share my love for reading and give you a book to read while you stay with me.
