It’s faraz here, I’m Pakistani by origin, I have been living in Dubai since last few years, now I have relocated back to Melbourne, Australia.

I’m an engineer by profession and have been working in Information & Communication Technologies.

I’m avid traveler, passionate about people, places & cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It would be injustice to say I have done only one amazing
thing so far.

I have done tons of amazing things in my life whether its paragliding in the snow mountains of Russian-Georgian borders, snorkelling and parasailing in the waters of Thailand and Egypt, Swimming in the dead sea and hiking in the Petra Jordan, Cruising in Lake Baykal Siberia, driving on great ocean road Australia, and many more.

But I will mention one of my biggest ever adventure so far.

Last winters, I was travelling to Uzbekistan, Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan in my quad country trip.

During my stay in Uzbekistan, I took an express train from Bukhara to Samarkand, during the travel I met an Uzbek couple and their friends who were heading for Samarkand to attend a wedding.

The perfect strangers turned in to friends during 2-3 hours journey, we talked alot and later they offered me if I can join them in their friend’s wedding in Samarkand.

As they seemed very nice, cultured and hospitable so I couldn’t deny, I went with them and we partied hard, it was one of the most amazing wedding I have ever attended in my life, it looked like a fairytale. I was heartly greeted as a special guest by the bride, groom and their families.

Since, I was the only non-Uzbek guest in entire crowd, we ate heavily, partied hard & danced crazily. It was one of the biggest adventure of my life.

There are many counties in my profile that I have visited many times, I have visited Russian Federation for four times, Azerbaijan thrice, Georgia and Thailand twice and Turkey for more than 6 times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the languages I speak, I cook delicious curries, so I can also teach some Indian/Pakistani curries.

I’m open to learn anything from my guests/hosts.
