ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Faraz and currently I live and work in Coventry. I've recently finished studying in Leeds where lived in this beautiful city for three years, made some amazing friends and had memorable experiences. Past few years have really been transformative in my life as I have lived in two different continents and traveled and met people from all around the world. This has been greatly educational for me and made me appreciate the diversity and richness which different cultures have. And this is one of the reasons I am on couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Surreal films. One of my favourites is Underground. Also, Survive Style 5+ and Existenz.
In music: Zeppelin, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Doors and Metallica. These days I am really in to electronic swing and chill wave i.e. Caravan Palace and Purity Ring
One of my regrets in life is that I haven't read much fiction. I tend to read books on popular science and history. Stephen Hawkings and Carl Sagan are some of my favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think it's amazing when people selflessly help others. It's probably the best thing anyone can do in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
To reiterate, " Surfing isn't just about a place to sleep. It's about exchange."
I think that we as humans are an aggregate sum of what we experience in life and a big part of it is the people we meet. That's why I meet people with the intention of learning something from them (it sounds corny but it's true :P ) and this is what CS is for.
Unfortunately, I've met my fair share of weirdos or those who don't get this CS philosophy and let their preconceived ideas about others cloud their judgements. Not cool!
