My name is Julian, and my girlfriend's name is Fredrika. We do most of our traveling together, so this is kind of a joint account.

I have studied languages and journalism, Fredrika is and artist and currently at law school. We are concerned with issues of Human rights and the environment, and we both hope to, in our respective fields, work with these questions in some form or another.

Right now we are on a hitchhiking journey, about 6 weeks long, since that is still our perception of a perfect adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started in 2008 by hosting people in my old flat, and has continued doing so ever since. Recently my activity has slowed down, and i am down to being able to host about a handful of people each year, unfortunately. It is a shame, because i really enjoy it, but life, as well as living arrangements made it harder and harder to keep up.

Also it has been crazy how many people choose to come to Stockholm, and though i totally understand why, it has simply been overwhelming how many requests i get daily, and i just can't find a way to respond to them all.

Interests

Studying languages, brewing beer and, obviously, hitchhiking are what comes off the top of my head wight now. Fredrika, the more esthetically oriented of us, is more into consuming art and architechture and such.
