About Me

Hello everyone,
welcome to my profile...
My name is Pegah and I'm an artist. I have started traveling the world with my husband. so for now you can say i'm officially a traveler.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

meeting people... and getting authentic , hands-on experience about daily of people from all countries... we want to hear stories and we want to share our own stories... we want to learn about the beauties and struggles everyone has experienced...

Interests

In 2011, we started our cycling trip and always dreamt of travelling the world. Gradually, this dream became a goal and in 2019, the dream became a reality. Forgoing the daily life, selling our home appliances, quitting our job and so on; these seemed crazy to some people but to us, it was just overcoming the obstacles in order to achieve our goal. Our trip begins 2019/6/21, going through Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Mongolia and China. The rest of our journey depends of the next country granting us visas.
Our journey will begin backpacking style. However, considering the duration of this journey, 5 years, it's not determined how it will end. Our purpose is to visit sights and beauties of each country and getting to know the people, culture, music, traditional food, etc. We also want to represent our country, Iran; presenting our culture, arts, sights and hospitality regardless of the politics going on in the countries. We want to prove that each person can be a peace ambassador on his or her own. We are the ones who can make a beautiful world without borders.
A brief summary of our trips:
Cycling through Iran for 4300 kms
Cycling through Turkey and Georgia for 1200 kms
Hitchhiking/backpacking through Armenia
Travelling through more than two third of Iran by train, car or cycle.
