I've been to Couchsurfing meetings in Rio de Janeiro & Lyon. I surfed for the first time in Brussels, Belgium -- and had a fantastic experience.

Watching the amazing sunset atop the Sugar Loaf in Rio de Janeiro as the lights of the apartments along Ipanema Beach (I think it was Ipanema) and the rest of Rio come on

Standing on one of the terraces of the Palais de Papes in Avignon, France with the sun shining & wind blowing with no one else around me, overlooking the Avignon rooftops, mountains, forests, and a river -- while listening to some awesome music on my iPod
