About Me

Came to Europe (Germany) recently and got out of a bad situation and realized how stuck I had become so now I have decided to travel, create new experiences, meet new people, explore new cultures and carpe diem. I like reading and writing and have great stories to tell.

After coming to Germany and exploring the social system here and comparing it to the system we have in India has got me interested in politics (Marxist thought and the third world reply to Marxism, the idea of democracy and how minorities get formed and of course the refugee crisis the world is seeing etc)

Additionally I am pleasantly surprised by the enormous research going on in psychedelics and its health benefits and looking forward to my first trip.

I can add many more things but this will give you an idea of what's currently on my mind. The world is changing and those who stay in one place get left behind (that doesn't mean one can't enjoy the peace of a good hilltop or seaside for some days ;) and so that leads us to why I am travelling, evolving and growing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and explore and hoping to find new friends around the world to have good adventures with, whether it's backpacking or just a simple dinner and a good conversation; it's all an adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical range is from classical to goth/heavy metal. Linkin Park, Greenday, Cradle of Filth, Imagine Dragons, Mohd. Rafi, Beethoven's 12th Symphony; the list goes on

I read almost every genre but my favorites would be JRR Tolkien, PG Wodehouse, Edgar Allen Poe, Taylor Caldwell etc.

I tend not to like the Marvel kind of movies but movies with some depth (I do watch Marvel but only when I am taking a chill pill and don't want to think much)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I disagree with how this question is framed, I can give some examples for the sake of completeness. I have a Guinness World Record so I am officially amazing ;), ran away from home to a forest to find a dragon (I was 12) and I have some great trip stories (mostly from India; new to exploring Europe).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good stories, can cook some Indian style food (and brag about how Biryani from my city is better than any other Biryani. We even have an official rap song about it)

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, India
