I'm Farid. I love life and I want to make the most of it. That means getting to experience as much as possible while chasing my dreams. I love travelling and meeting new people. I'm passionate about arts: acting, drawing, music, poetry, fashion - any form of expression. I also love competitive sports like football (soccer for 'Mericans), basketball, and volleyball, although I am not that good at them.

There is so much beauty in diversity. People of all creeds and colours, interests and opinions, experiences and emotions, thoughts and passions. We are truly, certainly unique. And if we weren't we would be the same coloured flowers in the same garden - which is kinda boring.

I want to explore the different colours of the world. I want to meet every type of person from every part of the globe and get to know them and where they come from. There is so much we can learn through travel, NOT tourism, but travel. So many insights and experiences that help a ton to become a new and better person who understands a little bit more about life. I just learned about this platform and didn't think much of it. But, now that I've discovered it I see how much more it can be and how we can connect as humans, share experiences and live fuller lives all across the world and I think it's beautiful and I want to be a part of that.

BUT I've loved reading the Dune books. I also read manga sometimes and my favourite is Vagabond.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Russian, Spanish, and English. I can also make some nice sweet treats like a carrot cake or cinnamon rolls. I can teach guitar and teach some songs. I can also teach about the Baha'i Faith if that interests you, and if you don't know what it is I'd be very happy to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am respectful in any space I stay in. I've lived with roommates my whole life so I know how to share a common space and keep everything clean and tidy. I will communicate to make sure that everything is clear to both me and anyone I'll be staying with - rules, boundaries, needs etc.

Anyone can say thank you, even a robot. But actions really do speak louder than words. So, I'm really happy to help with anything I can - cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, baking, teaching, maybe even just talking :)
Either way I would be given a place to stay and all basic amenities, so I am grateful and I want to help out.
