Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people and learn about other cultures. I try to travel abroad as much as possible. Couchsurfing is a good way to do both.

Interests

I usually meet up with my friends and we go out for a drink, or a movie.
I'm lucky to live in a city that has a lot to offer : movie festivals, music concerts, art, theatre. So there is always something new to do or to learn.
I like to cook and try new recipes, especially when its from a different culture.
Since I like good food, I try to stay healthy and work out every week.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to folk, blues and sometime jazz music. I also enjoy live classical music.
I started "The seven pillars of wisdom" (T.E. Lawrence)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A sailing trip during a week, with four persons that I met on the first day. It was a great trip to live on a sailing boat for few days. The funniest moment : cooking an omelette while the rest of crew was sailing and maneuvering the boat.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's an old Japanese saying I like : we start getting old when we stop learning.
So I try to stay curious and open to new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I like to cook, I'm always glad when I have guests who can "try" my new recipes and give me their impressions.
