About Me

I'm a super energized hyper Ethnic Chinese Taiwanese girl.
Brutally honest at times (I like to keep things out in the open so theres nothing in between for people to knaw on), yet still quite polite(I think).
If I have to describe myself I'd say I'm a bit of an extremist, I can be either super sociable, life of the party most of the time, I love talking to people of all ages, and background or I'm home 2 months straight playing computer games and not talk to people for weeks straight (but I am very talktive for sure)
I love almost all the sports, snowboarding, swimming, running, hiking, taekwondo, and seem to be quite alright with pingpong but am not very good with anything else that involves balls ;)
I got into University a bit late because I moved from Taiwan to Canada and back during some very critical time of studies(2 national exams in Taiwan), so i was downgraded twice to catch up with the Writing (Traditional Chinese :'( )
I'm fluently bilingual in both English and Chinese (I have no preference) can read, type in Simplified Chinese as well, can speak the most useless basic French phrases and vocabularies and pretend to read French XD
Before my year off from University I studied Computer Science Information Engineering in National Formosa University.

From the age 0~8 I was fully educated under Taiwanese educational system, I've always been the odd one out, the one the teachers have to call atleast 5 times a month, it made my mother became scared of picking up phone calls from school, from the age of 8 to 13 we moved to Canada, I went to Canadian elementary and learned for 2 and half years. I got transfered into French immersion because my parents thought it'd be a great idea for their kids to learn a third language (thanks mom and dad), so knowing the little English that I'd known I was transfered into French Immersion to struggle 2 times harder with my barely able to communicate English and this sudden demand for me to memorize all the French verb drills(yes that satanic little blue book of French blessing), during which my mom was still reciving phone calls 5 times a month.
Over all I'm a fun person to get along with, I do tend to make some very politically incorrect jokes due to the fact that Taiwanese, and Taiwanese in general are a bit racist but I assure you I mean no harm at all.
I love singing, music, reading, History, taking selfies(ofc), makeup, glamming off sometimes to show off, PC gaming, watching nat geo and discovery (because my dad made it a habit to do it since I was very little so it would become my habit and it worked...), playing with lego, big dogs, walks on beaches, walks in forest, walking anywhere that doesn't kill me, art (not such a huge fan of modern art though... the only modern art I believe in are in funiture, architectures, digital art designs and product designs , I'm sorry :'( I'm not artistic enough to understand the rest) and many many more to be honest but I can't think of any as of right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like everyone else I'm a bit confused and unsure of my choices in life, I'm currently 24 and took a year off my University, I want to use Traveling as an opportunity to see the world and different people, talking to them gives me a more clear vision of what I want for myself in the future.
Currently I wanna make a small road trip in the USA on the west side with my boyfriend(English) and neither of us have traveled in the US before, it'd be great to be able to talk to the locals and hang out!
