PHILOSOPHY

once i saw young girls fainting over this amazing ghanaian band and when it was over someone said "i just wish there was something i loved that much" and that is the closest thing i can think of to a personal philosophy: finding something to faint over.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in dresden, i was a couchsurfer's +1 and had the most delicious meal of couscous that i've been trying to recreate since.

i like music that makes me dance, that makes my heart flutter, that makes me want to tell my friends about it. if there's a fiddle, an accordion, or a good drum beat i am probably into it.
last good book i read was the islands, by carlos gamero. my copy of how should a person be has almost every sentence underlined for emphasis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

last fall i went horseback riding in the rose vallery in goreme, turkey. it was the most incredible experience. i've never felt so ecstatic, or so blessed, in my life.
