Overview
About Me
I'm quite peculiar in terms of my preference to a particular matter. I can't really explain it in words.
Well I'm trying to be different. But truth is, I'm just myself.
I love to make people laugh, and I love to cook. There's satisfaction when I do things that I love doing, seeing people, smiling and laughing. It brings me joy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People love to network. I mean most of them. No harm in making new connections, new friends, and who knows, new opportunities and wonderful beginnings? Life is always full of surprises.
Interests
I love to just shut myself out from the world when I get too much of human interaction back at work. Well it's work sake, so it's pretty legit.
Nah just kidding. I love to cook, and I'm a true foodie. Bring me out for a buffet spread and I assure you, it's definitely a good form of investment.
Other than that, I try to relax by listening to some music, or perhaps watch my all-time favourite "Adventure Time" cartoon.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: When I travel, I love listening to Post Rock tracks. Explosions in the Sky are one of my favourite post rock bands, apart from Mono, and Mogwai. I am sentimental, therefore appreciate tunes by Hope Sandoval and The Warm Intentions, Chet Baker, and even great film soundtracks. For groovy stuff, I love Drum & Bass.
Books: The King's Last Song, Shantaram, A Thousand Splendid Suns, All Kinds of Magic.. there's more.
Movies: Before Sunrise, Everything is Illuminated, Weekend, Grave of The Fireflies, Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Big Fish, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, Howl's Moving Castle, Interstellar... Gravity..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple of them:
1. Hot air ballooning around Bagan during Sunrise. Magic.
2. India. It is amazing on it's own.
3. Stuck in Koh Rong Island with no means of connectivity for 4 days.
4. Volunteered as an 'Anglo' (English Speaking tutor) in Salamanca, Spain.
5. Did a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India
Teach, Learn, Share
Stay humble, stay interesting and expand your horizons and options, and learn more about life.
The Prophet Muhammad used to say, "Gain more knowledge as you can, as far as China... The only time when you stop gaining knowledge is the day you're in the grave."
When you teach, you actually learn more, by learning more about your student's culture and experiences. Teaching does not mean that you stop learning.
