Overview
About Me
First things first: We are believing Christians and are happy to show our gratitude towards Jesus by iniviting people to stay at our home.
Latest update: As of January 2022 we have two beautiful daughters (age 2 and 4) who also love to meet you. ;-)
We are friendly, patient and funny people. We are open towards and interested in different cultures and countries we still do not know. We are excited to get to know people better and understand their view of the world.
We do not like superficial behavior. For us it is important to be a real person and we enjoy to meet such ones.
We try to live a sustainable life with regard to our planet's future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We were being hosted on our Baltic Region-Roadtrip by very nice hosts. These were our first surfing experiences, which we enjoyed a lot :)
Now we are looking forward for couchsurfers who will crash our place as well!
Interests
We like spending our time with people much more than being alone. These times make life special. Especially travelling is wonderful and brings people together.
M:
I love music and arts. Singing is my passion and I also play the piano. I am totally into design stuff such as working on my photos, redecorating our apartment and fancy interior design in general. I also love planning events for guests. Everything made with love makes a difference in this world.
T:
I enjoy spending time with my wife who is very important to me and who I love very much. I love sports. I am passionate about soccer and tennis. I like both playing and watching it. Reading and being informed about what is happening in the world is also important to me. I especially like novels with a historical background. Recently I started collecting music which can be considered as my "latest project". ;)

Teach, Learn, Share
M:
You could bring a Vegetarian recipe from your country of origin. Or a photo with a nice background story. Or you are a very good narrator. Or you can simply be thankful to have a bed in Mannheim. ;)
T:
I am always happy to practice my foreign languages, especially my Spanish and French have much room for improvement. ;) Additionally one of my hobbies is drinking beer, which is why I want to try as many as possible.
I have got some solid German and English skills to offer and also some basic knowledge about business in case anybody cares about it. ;)
I am always open to sharing my thoughts on good music and always happy to receive recommendations from others.
