I'm Faruk from Turkey.

One of the coolest things about travelling is how much you learn from others. I love hiking, hammocks, road trips, and a good campfire.

I'm always interested in meeting new people especially people who come from different cultures. I love to learn about people and hear first-hand stories about places I have yet to travel. I love people and learning new ways of thinking. Always striving to view life from a new perspective.
I enjoy learning about different cultures and customs and the traditions of different countries. I take great joy discovering about different cultures, places and food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me traveling is not sight seeing. Its a meaningful experience through which we encounter diverse peoples, cultures, ideas, and obviously food.
I come from the magnificent city Istanbul. A city with its own distinct culture and worldview. I am as willing to share as much as I am curious to know about world cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have experienced both, being a host and being a surfer. I like both as I am the kind of person who would be happy whether visiting or being visited.
