About Me
IMPORTANT - READ (till the end) BEFORE SENDING REQUEST:
I am up for hosting most people, but because my family is not comfortable, at the moment I can ONLY host FEMALES (why can't some of yall even read this part)
● Please DO NOT send me a request 1 month or more in advance. I will REJECT it as it's impossible for me to tell what my schedule is like!!
I graduated recently and have been trying to work as much as I can to earn money and save up for travelling and further studies! =) Some days I am out the whole day working :3
● And so, I may be quite busy and sometimes unable to spend time with you outside!! However, we can chat at night when we both have time and energy!
I like to help people out and pass on the good karma ;) In return I hope you will host people too when you are back home, and not let it be one-sided~
Due to the amount of requests I receive, I will only host those whom I feel has a better couchsurfing spirit =^)
● So if you have been on CS for YEARS and never hosted anyone, I will NOT host you. It's a give and take guys - I really dislike selfish people 😐
(I can understand if your city is unpopular or other special circumstances that made it difficult for you to host)
If you have read my profile, please indicate that you did so by starting your message with "Hey Farzana :D"
including the smiley!!
If you don't, I will definitely reject your request ;)
Lastly, I EXPECT that you will write me a reference after staying with me (obviously), and that too within a WEEK. It's the least you can do for me for letting you stay for free.
It's disappointing that some people just want to take and not give back anything. If you are that type of person, couchsurfing isn't for you :)
Also, if you are someone who will IGNORE my messages completely, AFTER I have hosted you, why are you even wanting to stay with me? Because it's free? 😑
Please don't stay with me then because I will think poorly of you 😬
My personality:
✔ Honest/direct
✔ Not pretentious
✔ Carefree/ easygoing
✔ Sarcastic at times
✔ Thoughtful
✔ Flexible
✔ Like joking around
✔ Have dark humour
✔ Sentimental; like forming emotional bonds
Things I expect from guests:
• Not acting entitled
• Being thoughtful
• Being grateful - it costs me $ to host you after all!
• Asking questions if unsure about anything
• Following basic house rules (like no shoes in house)
• Do your own dishes please!
• Writing a reference for me
Annnnnd that's about it! =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My family has been hosting friends and family for as long as I can remember, and since I do have couches and an empty bed, I see this as a very good opportunity to meet people and help out some fellow travellers!
And naturally I hope that I get to meet and stay with fellow travellers like me in their home country!
I like feeling connected to people on a more emotional level, and if you feel that we cannot really get on well, please find another host instead because I likely wouldn't have enjoyed hosting you 😅
☆☆In your message, let me know WHY/HOW we will get along 😊 - I shall decide whether to host you or not depending on this!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am quite open to music from various languages as long as it has a great beat!
I love movies that make you think and has great visuals. One of my favourite movies of all time is Inception :)
I read a lot as a child and I am drawn to fantasy and love imagination, but sadly I don't read as much nowadays although I still feel drawn to books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did the highest (legal) Skydive of 15 000 ft in Western Australia in Jurien Bay! It was amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who is (re)considering doing it !
My future plans include scuba diving in Iceland in between the tectonic plates, and swimming with sharks!
Teach, Learn, Share
There is nothing I enjoy more than learning about other cultures, and sharing about my own. During my travels the interactions I had with strangers/fellow travellers made me realise that I am very much into learning about the world.
I love immersing in other cultures through food, language, clothing and cultural practices.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from my own experiences from travelling, I can give them tips on places I have visited and lived. Also if there is any thing they would like from my home country like stamps or unique snack, I will be more than happy to bring along and share it!
