ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! My name is Andrieu. I’ve been on Couchsurfing since 2011 and I’ve met some amazing people from all over. I’m very blessed and I don’t take that for granted. Couchsurfing has been a gateway for me to have an extended family from all over the world. I believe family can be chosen. I’ve been grateful to say I have family all over the world. I’m a very spiritual person and like to surround myself with good energy, that’s not to say bad energy can’t be avoided, but I have a very powerful energy source, so when I encounter the bad, I shift it to good. I currently work as a flight attendant with a USA based airline, but I’m in the process of working on a cultural documentary with hopes to shed light to various cultures around the world, the perception locals have on foreigners, the perception locals feel foreigners have about them, and how that can be changed in a more positive light. I’ve learned that we are all so much more alike than we are different, even if we are thousands of miles away. I can usually host when I’m not traveling. If I am traveling, I usually find my own accommodations, but I love meeting people to hang out. If you don’t mind hanging out, I would be grateful.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy on life is to simply be happy in whatever you do, and be courages enough to love in your truth. I have overcome many triumphs so being happy is at the top of my priority. Im more spiritual than religious.

Im a very social person, so I use Couchsurfing to meet good people. I am not interested in using this as a hook up or dating app. There’s grindr and tindr haha! I truly just like meeting genuine and good people.

Interests

I love to dance! I am a former classically trained ballet and modern dancer. I can also play a few instruments so I have a great relationship with music. I love to learn languages, culture, and practice local dance moves from around the world. I love to paint, even tho Im not very great at it, I love to exercise, and I love to play sports as well.

I love drums! So music with amazing drums tend to get me moving. I was a former dancer so I tend to love moving once I hear good music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to do the perfect Plie'. I can also teach people about the culture in a city like Miami. Many people think it's a party city since thats what they show on television, however, there is soo much more to that. I can teach a few things about how life is in other parts of the world since I’ve been to soo many places. I can share my experiences with my work stories. There’s always a funny story when working as a flight attendant. I would love to learn about cultures all over the world. i would also love to practice on a few languages.
