About Me
CURRENT MISSION
enjoy a new and old home
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent graduate from university in the UK. After graduating, I worked for JET, teaching English in Japan. I returned from Japan in August 2013 and am now back home in York, UK, working on the next step.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an optimistic person. I try not to complain about things that I have control over, which I believe is most aspects of my life! I've learnt from a good friend that if you don't like something about your life, change it instead of complaining about it, and this is what I aim to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am eager to both surf and host. I have so far done one of each.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed once, in Pau, France, and had a great time. I also hosted in my apartment here in Japan and it was a really good experience.
Interests
I love cooking, eating (particularly desserts), drinking cider (especially the French type), and to equal this out I love cycling, swimming, walking, playing squash and tennis! I really enjoy new experiences, big or small, and the people and places on the way. I'm also an animal lover.
