About Me
I'm Fateh, Fateh-Eddine Boumendjel. This is my real full name and you can check on Google! And this is the link to my page on university staff website: http://staff.univ-guelma.dz/fateh-eddine-boumendjel
I'm a traditional muslim but also a -relatively- openminded citizen of the world who traveled a lot in many countries on 3 continents, apreciated by a lot of friends of different cultures around the world. I was and -of course- I am always against terrorism, racism, colonialism, ethnocentrism,...
I'm married. I have a lot of children. I'm teaching at university, since a long time.
I'm still living at my parents' house (that's why I can't accept guests!) but I'll try to do my best to help visitors in my town [despite my little disability, that, unfortunatly, make me a bit of a homebody!], especially if it's on my hollidays (because along the year I'm working 60km far from home!).
You must know that, as a traditional muslim, I don't drink alcohol, never smoke "nothing", don't consume any kind of drugs, don't touch women (exept my wife), don't participate in party, nor dancing/singing....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Appreciate reading books about Religion, History, Geography, Zoology ...
I don't like any music. I like to listen to different beautifull quranic recitation, like some of what's in this arabian university website: https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#aya=19_16&m=hafs&qaree=shatree&trans=en_sh
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I experienced the life in 5 different countries and the visit of about 17 countries around the world, so, I have a lot of adventures to tell!
Among them:
-Very special spiritual visit of the holly lands of islam (Makkah - Madinah)...
-Crossing of deserts (Algeria, Lybia, Saudi Arabia)...
-Crossing Nile and Euphrates...
-Crossing the Mediteranean Sea (Annaba-Valetta-Athena-Alexandria and Tripoli-Izmir)...
-Taking many flights to/from different airports (Algiers, Amman, Annaba, Beirut, Damascus, Frankfurt, Geneva, Jeddah, Madinah, Marseille, Tunis,...)...
-Many official visits to: International Criminal Court, Special International Criminal Court for ex-Yougoslavia, International Court of Justice in The Hague (Netherlands), European Human Rights Court in Strasbourg (France), European Commission in Brussels (Belgium)...
-Teaching hundreds of students, since a quarter of century, in many universities/institutes (Guelma-Annaba-Skikda in Algeria and Hassakeh in Syria) and online by e-learning (United Nations Institute of Training and Research)...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm teaching Islamic Law at university, in arabic (so that's what I can teach easily!). I'm also teaching History of Law and Humanitarian Law (War Law), so, I will talk about history (of my town, my country and some of the world history) and humanitarian principals (in IHL and Islamic Law rules against terrorism...). I can also say that I'm, more or less, fluent in french too (so far better than english!).
I always like to know more about other cultures, languages and people around the world.
And I will share my own culture with others and let them try all what is exotic for them in my country (food, drink, clothes, way of life, arts, historical places, special natural environment ...).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to share my own culture (religion, language, customs, history,...) with others and let them try all what is exotic for them in my country (food, drink, clothes, way of life, arts, historical places, special natural environment...). I can also share my experiences of life and learning.
