I grew up in Mumbai, a city with whom I have a love-hate relationship. It's a crazy city, but it's home.
I have lived in Ontario, Canada for a year which made me appreciate a life of peace, snow and winter.
I currently live in Brighton, UK, just having finished my Masters degree. Brighton pushes me to be grateful for colour, sun, and the sea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always knew Couchsurfing is great, but after the first time I stayed with someone and spent some time talking to him and knowing more the CS community, I fell in love and there was no looking back.
I'm here to see new places, meet new people, and increase my love for the world.
In my year spent in North America, I was hosted by 10 CSers, and I met many more; each experience being a huge value-add to my travel stories.
I am going to be hopping around France, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal this September, and I am looking forward to meeting more amazing people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a 10day road trip across Maritime Canada with 4 people I'd never met before, but met through online travel groups, couchsurfing, etc. It was a great trip that involved everyone asking how people across all ages from India, Canada, Australia, Scotland, and Germany got together. At one point, us ordering hot chocolates at a bar, turned into an amazing woman taking all of us when we were about to spend the night in our car.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm here to learn and get inspired, and hope that one day, I can do the same thing for someone else too.
I study social development and can talk about politics, India, and gender equality.
I want to learn how to cook a lot of dishes from different cuisines, and am try to improve my french.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Coming from urban India, I can share a lot about my culture, smash stereotypes and help build new experiences
I am also full of sort-of amusing stories about life in a huge, crowded city
.And I can try my hand at cooking some spicy Indian food.
