In 2007 I decided to take a gap year after I graduated, so I travelled 3 months in Australia and 4 months in Africa, where I met a couchsurfer in Ghana and got to know about the concept. I haven't couchsurfed the last couple of years, but I'm now going to Hungary for 10 days - a great opportunity to get started again and hopefully getting a lot of great experiences and meeting awesome people who are also part of this concept.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the best experiences in the US, couchsurfing down the East coast and in Russia and Amsterdam. I have met a lot of great and openminded people that I hope I will stay in touch with, it's been amazing to experience so much hospitality from so many different people. I love every part of this concept!
