I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I think our minds are indeed as parachites, if they don't open, then they're not working as they should. Being able to share thoughts and learn from different persons is great, and being able to share a travel experience with the tips or company of a local gives a huge complement to what travelling is. Being hosted does not only make you feel at home, but it also gives much more meaning and a broader perspective from what you'll see during your trip.
