This profile is for myself and my fiance Mike who is with me in the profile picture. We are a pretty free spirited, very sociable, and open minded couple. We love live music of all sorts and are creative types. We are both very tidy and reliable and though we enjoy a good party, we are no longer in our 20s partying hard so we also enjoy a good bit of relaxing. We are comfortable with pets as long as they are not the biting type! We enjoy learning about the histories, nature, culture, people and tasty foods of the countries we visit :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my fiance are currently travelling the world before we head back to the UK in June 2017 and have babies. We have joined couch surfing mid-way through our trip whilst in Brazil so unfortunately are not able to host anyone until we get back home next year. We are looking to meet and stay with local people to get a real flavour of what it is like to live in a country, and maybe some insider tips for things to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We both recently did tandem sky dives, though Mike was much braver than me! There is a hilarious video of me silently weeping on the way up in the plane, but it was well worth it in the end. We are both pretty scared of heights so this was a huge achievement for us.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mike plays guitar + drums so can teach basic skills.
Fatima can teach how to cook all kinds of stuff, bake, knit

We are learning Spanish so any opportunity to practise would be great!
