Overview
About Me
Nomad, cheerful, easygoing, outdoorsy.
I love visiting new places, learning different languages and discovering new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started couchsurfing back in 2009 mainly in Portugal, in Malta, in Spain and in Austria.
I haven't done it much since then. I have mostly hosted people when I was living in Montpellier and in Marseille (south of France).
It was always great since I met people from different countries and shared a lot with them.
I love seeing places through locals' eyes and learning about their culture (languages, customs, habits etc..), I also genuinely enjoy showing others through my hometown.
Interests
My two favorite activitIes are without a doubt traveling and reading ( great thing is they are not mutually exclusive :D ). I've picked up the reading / writing bug when I was 3 or 4 and well I haven't gone a day without since.
I have been on the road since I was a toddler. My parents took us all around growing up. I love it and I don't see myself ever not doing it.
I used to ride horses, even was a horse riding instructor for a little while.
About baking, I don't know how that happened, I just know that for some reason something about the holy trinity of egg, flour and sugar always excites me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have major case of "booklimia" - don't ask me to choose that's just plain cruel.
I have to admit I have a soft spot for romantic comedies (the cheesiest the better) and any movie with a major psycho (i.e: the shining).
These days I am binge watching Peaky Blinders and This is Us.
Otherwise I am that nerd who watches indie black and white silent movies with subtitles in esperanto (Do I speak Esperanto you might ask... well no. Apparently I like torturing myself).
Not much of a music connoisseur, I can listen to any kind of music as long as it doesn't assault my ears.
