Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Helping children around the world
ABOUT ME
Fatma: Melancholic feminist!
Patrick: Travelling as always been my passion. I have spent 3 years around South East Asia. My roots are in Switzerland but I'm always eager to look to new horizons. I always try to understand how the world works around me. Therefore, I am not only interested in perfect postcard-like places but rather on people and the way they live all around the world. The best way to do it is to volunteer. I have worked with Indonesian human rights defenders in Indonesian Papua, with illiterate women in Bali and have taught to children of illegal immigrants in Malaysia. I received much more from the people I helped than I gave to them. I hope that through CS I will meet awesome people who contribute to make my life worthwhile.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about caring each other especially children

Music, Movies, and Books
Fatma: Romantic movies, Reggae and slow rock, philosophy books and novel
Patrick: Mostly true stories and anything with a lot of maps inside...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fatma: I evacuated the victims of the earthquake in Jogjakarta (Indonesia)
Patrick: Knowing Indonesian/malay language gave me the opportunity to meet an uncountable number of cool and interesting people (and my wife :-)). For me an amazing thing is just to sit in a honai (traditional house) in the Highlands of Papua and chat about anything with villagers, while chewing betel nuts.
Teach, Learn, Share
Fatma: I am still learning about women and children, their life and education are the most interest thing i have to know.
Patrick: Teaching is my job but I dare say that I will keep on learning until the end of my life especially through meeting with new people. Having the chance to meet people from abroad through CS is the best way to fight prejudices and gather information for my geography and history courses...
